Tatler Indonesia Is Back: A Night To Remember & A Future To Celebrate

We’re thrilled to announce that Tatler Indonesia has officially relaunched — and we did it in style. On Saturday, 24th May 2025, the Tatler Indonesia team hosted a relaunch gala dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the brand.

With the theme “Celebrating Indonesian Excellence”, the relaunch wasn’t just about returning to the magazine — it was about redefining what Tatler Indonesia stands for in this new era. We’re embracing deeper narratives, more diverse representation, and spotlighting voices that are shaping the future of Indonesia in style, culture, innovation, philanthropy, and more.

The event gathered an exclusive guest list of some of Indonesia’s most respected changemakers, next-gen leaders, and influential figures across industries, from sustainability pioneers and startup founders to fashion tastemakers and cultural visionaries. They were not only there to witness the relaunch, but also to become part of the Tatler Indonesia community moving forward.

Guests were welcomed with a refined cocktail reception, followed by a short film revealing the new manifesto of Tatler Indonesia and a heartfelt toast by our CEO, Michel Lamunière, celebrating the team’s dedication and our renewed editorial purpose. Also present were Tatler Asia’s Chief People Officer, Maggie Shen, along with Executive Managing Director for Indonesia and Malaysia Gerrie Beh, Head of Events Shida Mahadi and Dining Editor Katelyn Tan. The event started with a heartfelt performance by Indonesia’s renowned group choir, Batavia Madrigal, before enjoying a beautifully curated dinner by RUMARI. The night went on with Indonesian superstar Ruth Sahanya taking the stage, followed by an electric performance by Malaysia’s megastar Sheila Madjid. We also unveiled a preview of our comeback print issue — featuring our new visual direction and a lineup of inspiring cover stars: Didit Hediprasetyo, Gusti Bhre, Nagita Slavina and Grace Tahir.

This relaunch is the result of months of work by a small but mighty team based in Jakarta. The Indonesian team has reimagined Tatler Indonesia’s content pillars, voice, and presence, both in print and online. We're proud to now be a platform that not only reflects Indonesia’s high society but also leads important conversations around purposeful leadership, cultural excellence, and next-gen influence.
