An Odyssey to Harmony

Resorts World Sentosa was reimagined into a spectacular showcase for this year’s theme, “An Odyssey to Harmony”, under the creative vision of Hugo Belloy, creative director and founder of Dreams and Dreams. With immersive stage design, artful lighting and performances that blended traditional artistry with cutting-edge technology, the Ball embodied Tatler’s cultural vision of celebrating growth, exchange and unity in harmony.

Exquisite Dining and Immersive Performances

Guests were treated to an exceptional three-course menu crafted by award-winning chefs Quynh Brown of Syun, Aitor Gonzalez of Sugarra, and Antonio Benites of Pierre Hermé. The collaborative menu showcased a union of three distinct culinary traditions through inventive expression: Brown’s elegant Japanese starter of sashimi flounder with momotaro tomatoes, dashi jelly and amazu ponzu; Gonzalez’s duo of mains featuring sustainable Chilean sea bass with lobster ragout and Spanish-style veal cheek paired with parsnip-potato purée and baby spinach; and Benites’ refined finale—a deconstructed rendition of Pierre Hermé’s iconic Ispahan, combining crisp macaron shells with fresh raspberries and berry ice cream.

Vegan guests were equally indulged with a dedicated menu, beginning with heirloom tomatoes with black truffles, followed by a vibrant potato and vegetable tagine, and concluding with a refreshing medley of seasonal fruits accompanied by lemon ice cream and basil sorbet.

The dining experience was interwoven with world-class performances that elevated the evening into a journey of creativity and connection.

The immersive vision of “An Odyssey to Harmony” came to life through a stellar line-up of world-class performers who transcended genres and art forms. The evening opened with an electrifying performance by Japanese musician Kenta Hayashi, setting the tone with his fusion of sound, movement and visual spectacle. This high energy was carried through with Malaysian choreographer Faris Azim and the dynamic Zeppo Youngsterz dance crew, whose explosive storytelling and precision captivated the audience.

Adding a contemplative note, Singapore’s own Kin Leonn delivered ethereal soundscapes that blended ambient textures with electronic layers, evoking both intimacy and vastness. The sense of wonder deepened with magician Anna DeGuzman, whose bespoke cardistry performance integrated harmony, pop culture and immersive visuals to engage the audience in unexpected ways. The journey concluded with a moving performance by Swiss cellist Jodok Vuille, who performs as Jodok Cello, and whose innovative style bridged the classical and contemporary with raw emotional power.

Every detail, from the flavours to the entertainment, reinforced Tatler Ball Asia’s position as the region’s pinnacle of cultural celebration.
