Gen.T, Tatler’s community-focused content and events platform for the Leaders of Tomorrow, has placed third at the World Association of News Publishers (WAN-IFRA) Global Digital Media Awards.

After winning gold in the Best Newsletter category at the WAN-IFRA Digital Media Asia Awards in November, Gen.T’s newsletter, The Deep Dive, was automatically entered into WAN-IFRA’s global awards, pitting it against the Gold winners from the press organisation’s awards in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, North America and South Asia.

Gen.T’s newsletter was ranked in third place, putting it alongside other leading digital publications that are pushing the industry forward through innovative media products.

The weekly Deep Dive newsletter unpacks the ideas and trends shaping Asia’s future. With an open rate of over 40 percent, The Deep Dive provides a regional audience of entrepreneurs and young leaders with an informative, fun and digestible read that brings them up to speed on the trending topics they need to know at the intersection of Asian business and society. Each newsletter is curated editorial delivered straight to your inbox, equipping readers with insights that inspire them to think differently.

“It’s an honour to receive such recognition from our peers around the world, members of the expert judging panel at WAN-IFRA who deemed Gen.T’s editorial to be truly world class,” says Gen.T’s regional editorial and business director, Lee Williamson. “The whole team is thrilled and so proud to receive such an accolade, which is welcome validation for the work we do in service of informing and inspiring our community of entrepreneurs and impactful young leaders.”

“It was a great surprise when we found out that The Deep Dive came in as one of the top three newsletters globally,” says Gen.T’s Asia editor, Chong Seow Wei. “It’s also amazing to know that we’re being recognised by peers we are inspired by every day. This is definitely a proud moment for us—and one that will keep us motivated to continue doing what we do.”

Some of the topics recently explored in The Deep Dive include How To Unlearn To Relearn, Why Do Good Leaders Fail, How To Create Hype, and How To Build An Innovative Workplace.
