Manage and direct the regional Information Technology (IT) function of Tatler Asia to provide quality IT services and solutions in meeting the needs of Tatler Asia’s operations in line with its growth. Tatler currently has offices in 7 markets in Asia and is expected to expand to additional markets in the near future.
Responsibilities
- Manage, plan and execute the regional information technology (IT) strategy
- Develop, implement and manage compliant IT policies and best-practice procedures, documenting process improvements.
- Optimize IT investment and IT operating costs, develop and manage the IT budget.
- Manage and lead any IT-related projects.
- Support any project discussions involving technology solutions.
- Manage external IT service providers in ensuring cost-effective and quality services
- Provide recommendations based on market trends, emerging tech and best practices.
- Identify security risks and implement mitigation solutions.
- Ensure appropriate licensing procedures are in place and followed.
- Troubleshoot network infrastructure-related issues.
- Provide end user support including but not limited to remote users, different devices, encryption, security, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc…
- Lead a small team of outsourced vendors that oversee and support the IT Infrastructure, rollout new initiatives, perform daily operations and support end users across Asia.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years or more relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in the following system and technologies - Office 365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, Fortigate, Cisco, Amazon Web Service.
- Familiarity with various operating system, Microsoft, Mac OS, Linux.
- Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
- Team player with strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, organize and problem-solve.
- Strong hands-on project management and systems integration experience.
- Well-organized, technically competent, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Understands the importance of system housekeeping and proactively handles tasks.
- Capable of coordinating and holding training sessions with the business when required, as well as coordinating business communications.
